About Us:

 

Green Boat Oyster Company is an oyster farm on Middle Bay, off Simpson’s Point in Brunswick Maine. It is a very small family business, owned and operated  by Tim Johnson and his family.  We rear American oysters from one millimeter seed to adult oysters.  Our farm is very environmentally conscious.  In order to reduce our energy output, we use solar panels to run our upweller.  We run a small homemade boat which is quiet and uses little gasoline.  We also have a very small operation, which has only a positive impact on the environment and the marine ecosystems.
